Is this 48V 150Ah LiFePO₄ battery compatible with Club Car, E-Z-GO and Yamaha golf carts?

It may suit many compatible 48V Club Car DS and Precedent, E-Z-GO TXT and RXV, Yamaha Drive and G29, and other 48V golf carts. Compatibility depends on the model year, battery-compartment dimensions, controller operating range, wiring, terminals and charger. Some conversions may require mounting brackets, cable adaptors or an onboard-charger bypass.

Should I choose the 100Ah or 150Ah golf cart battery?

Choose the 100Ah / 5.12kWh battery for standard two-seat golf carts, shorter daily trips and a lighter, more compact installation. Choose the 150Ah / 7.68kWh battery for four- to six-seat carts, frequent full loads, hilly properties, long-distance use, resort fleets, farms and fewer charging stops.

How long will the 51.2V 150Ah golf cart battery run per charge?

The battery stores 7.68kWh of energy, which is 50% more than a 100Ah / 5.12kWh battery. Under the same vehicle, load, speed, terrain and weather conditions, it can provide approximately 1.5 times the runtime potential of the 100Ah model. Actual distance and operating time vary according to the golf cart, passenger load, tyre pressure, controller, driving speed and terrain.

Can one lithium battery replace my complete 48V lead-acid battery bank?

Yes. One compatible 51.2V lithium battery can replace a complete 48V lead-acid bank, such as eight 6V, six 8V or four 12V batteries. Remove the entire lead-acid bank and never mix lithium and lead-acid batteries in the same system. The 150Ah battery measures 680 × 320 × 262 mm and weighs 63.2kg, so measure the battery tray and confirm its load capacity before ordering.

What charger should I use, and how long does charging take?

Use a compatible 58.4V LiFePO₄ CC/CV charger. A 48V 15A lithium charger can recharge the 150Ah battery from empty in approximately 10 hours under ideal conditions. Solar charging is also possible with a compatible 48V solar charge controller, but charging time will depend on panel output, sunlight and system efficiency. Do not use an existing lead-acid charger unless its voltage and charging profile have been confirmed as suitable.

Can this 48V 150Ah battery be used in an RV, caravan or off-grid solar system?

Yes, it may be used in compatible 48V motorhomes, 40ft bus conversions, caravans, farm systems and off-grid solar installations. Its 7.68kWh capacity can store energy for refrigerators, water pumps, lighting, internet equipment and inverter loads.
