How many batteries do I need?
  • 1 battery: 5.12kWh – small sheds, cabins and essential loads
  • 2 batteries: 10.24kWh – workshops, rural cabins and extended backup
  • 3–4 batteries: 15.36–20.48kWh – off-grid homes and farms
  • 5–6 batteries: 25.60–30.72kWh – larger properties and remote systems

Actual requirements depend on your appliance consumption, inverter size and desired backup time.

Can one battery support a 5kW inverter?

One battery provides up to 95A continuous discharge, equal to approximately 4.86kW DC at nominal voltage before inverter losses. For a system expected to deliver 5kW continuously, we recommend using at least two batteries.

Is it compatible with my inverter?

The battery supports CAN, RS485 and RS232 communication, but compatibility depends on the inverter model, firmware, protocol and cable pinout. Send us your inverter brand and model before ordering so we can help check compatibility.

Can I add more batteries later?

Yes. The system can be expanded using identical batteries of the same model and specification. Battery voltage and state of charge should be closely matched before connecting additional modules in parallel.

Can it connect directly to an EcoFlow DELTA power station?

No. This is a standard 51.2V rack battery and does not connect directly to EcoFlow DELTA extra-battery ports. An EcoFlow expansion cable or adapter is not included.

Can solar panels connect directly to the battery?

No. Solar panels must be connected through a compatible MPPT solar controller, hybrid inverter or inverter-charger. Correct cabling, isolation and overcurrent protection are also required.

Can the battery be installed outdoors or in a motorhome?

The battery is rated IP20 and must be installed in a dry, protected indoor cabinet or suitable enclosed compartment. It can be used in professionally designed 48V motorhome or bus systems when the installation complies with applicable Australian electrical and RV standards.

What warranty and certification documents are available?

The battery includes a five-year product warranty. Model-specific IEC 62619, UN38.3, FCC, CE, UL 1973 and RoHS documentation is available on request. Australian CEC listing or rebate eligibility should be checked separately before ordering for a grid-connected home system.
