It can suit compatible 12V house and auxiliary systems powering fridges, lights, pumps and electronics. Check the battery compartment dimensions, charger settings and total current draw before upgrading. Engine starting, golf cart propulsion and specific vehicle fitment require separate compatibility confirmation.
Using 80% of its nominal 1,280Wh gives about 1,024Wh. A fridge averaging 40W would have a theoretical runtime of 25.6 hours before losses. Actual runtime varies with ambient temperature, fridge settings, compressor duty cycle, other loads and battery condition.
A compatible 12V inverter can be used if total DC draw, including inverter losses, stays within the 100A continuous discharge limit throughout the operating voltage range. Microwaves and air conditioners may exceed that limit and have higher startup demands. Send us the inverter and appliance specifications so we can check suitability.
Use the official app linked in the battery manual to view charge level, voltage, temperature and charging status from a nearby phone. Once the app is installed, the monitoring connection works locally over Bluetooth without internet. Follow the supplied pairing instructions.
Use a LiFePO4-compatible mains charger, solar controller or DC–DC charger with a charging profile matching 14.4V ±0.2V. The recommended charge current is 20A; the maximum continuous charge current is 100A. Disable lead-acid equalisation or desulfation modes. From empty, 100Ah ÷ 20A gives about five hours, plus time for the final charging stage.
Parallel connection adds capacity at the same system voltage; series connection increases voltage. Before expanding, ask our team to confirm the approved battery count and wiring for this version. Match the model, capacity and state of charge, and ensure the charger and loads suit the completed bank.
Charge only between 0°C and 55°C, and discharge between −20°C and 60°C. The storage range is 0°C to 45°C. The BMS includes high- and low-temperature protection for both charging and discharging. Keep the installed battery within its permitted range, especially when charging in cold weather.
Its IP65 rating provides dust and water-jet protection; it does not provide an immersion rating. For compatible marine house loads, install the battery securely in a sheltered location and keep terminals and cable connections dry. Avoid submersion and direct saltwater exposure.
Batteries purchased through our Australian website come with a 5-year warranty for material and manufacturing defects under proper use, subject to our warranty terms.
